We're considering DNN as a framework to build our cms app on, but would like to get some information about scalability of DNN...specifically regarding the database scalability.

Are there any metrics that can give us an approximate idea of how many sql servers would be needed to run a DNN app that might get upto 20 million hits a month? we might have anywhere between 500-600 portals (websites). I unserstand that DNN does support web farm configuration. Anyone have any experience with this? Any whitepapers on DNN performance/scalability/recommended configurations?

Thanks

I am not 100% sure, but I do know that there are a few major sites running DNN you might try contacting the developers involved in those projects to see if they can give any insight.

The one that I was thinking about mostly is the Australian Football League website, I believe it is www.afl.com.au
