I know that with the Verified registration it does create somewhat of an opt-in type of registration path, since in essence you are verifying that they used their own email address to create an account. This is part of what autoresponders like Aweber.com do. The next part is where you can schedule emails to kick off in a time based pattern once someone joins your site (or list in Internet Marketing terms). So I can create a series of messages that start on Day 0 and can be for a series of days, weeks, months, whatever.

It allows me to get my message before prospects multiple times, which increases the chance of them buying from me, or whatever it is I want them to do.

So my question is whether or not anyone has any modules that really work well for this and if so, can someone show me some good examples. This is a must have for internet marketers on a website and I am starting to host for some marketers. They are so use to using tools like Aweber that it is hard for them to believe that they could get a package deal in a DNN site that could work well.

Another issue is deliverability of the emails, especially if the membership grows into the thousands. Companies like Aweber specialize in staying in the good graces of the large email providers so they don't get blacklisted. Maybe I am not prepared to expend the effort it takes to stay on top of that. It could be that I should just tell people to use an Autoresponder company like AWeber, or maybe I should setup a private label version of AWeber, which they have.

Anyway, I just wanted to spark some dialogue along these lines and see what others are doing, if anything.

Thanks

Cliff,

From an automated generation perspective I do not know of anything that currently exists for that type of functionality.

Have you cheked out on SnowCovered to see if there is anything?

Nuke A.lert may be exactly what you are looking for.  For details, click here

Nuke A.lert allows you to schedule emails to kick off at times you specify with dynamic content in the email as well as to a dynamic list of recipients (by Roles, email list generated using SQL, etc).

Nuke A.lert also has the ability to send the emails out in batch.  For example, if you have a campaign setup and your recipient list of over 50,000 then you can setup Nuke A.lert to email the campaign in batches of 1,000 (it's set by you so you can set the batch quantity to anything you want).
