do i past the analytics to a module or the page some how?

You can put a text/html module on your page and put the code in the "header" of the module.

I have a GoogleAnalytics module available for free.

Visit:  www.southvillagesoftware.com

It's in the downloads section and available if you register. It will take care of injecting the script for you.

thank you i got it installed.  my next question is why my gallery module  is not installed.  and how come when i try installing it i get the following message:: Invalid File Extension For Custom Module Definition Gallery_3.0.12_Install.zip
