Greetings DotNetNuke Community,

Being new to IIS, ASP and DotNetNuke I am having an installation problem. After submitting a message 6 hours ago and trying again an hour ago I am wondering whether a) my question was too dumb to warrent a posting, b) whether I didn't submit it correctly or c) whether the normal response time to have a thread posted is normally many hours. Having a moderator intercept new threads is something I haven't experience elsewhere.

I really appreciate the time the team and community puts in helping each other on open source projects. Being new to this community I don't know what to expect. The DotNetNuke technology is interesting to me, but most of my experience is with Apache/MySQL and PHP based open source portal projects.

Thanks

I think you may have missed the emails that are sent out when your messages were moved. After reading this post, I went and checked in the "Install It!" forum (which is the appropriate forum for messages related to installation) and found your messages there. Here's one of them:

Also regarding your moderated status, after a while contributing to the community it is very possible that the moderators will remove your profile form moderated status.
