Is there a way to to Estimate DB Space required for the 4.5.3 after a set period of time.  Eg. if I installed DNN today, how soon the database reach 20mg, 50mg, 100mg, etc.   I know that this would depend on the modules, used, but it would be nice to know that module X would use Y meg. / month.

Also, what I am installing is a club DNN site with announcements, forums, events, blogs, and file downloads.  I have a host selected, but they offer only 100 meg. of SQL space.  I worry that this is not enough for 1-3 years of use!

db size is generally mainly determined by transaction log (i.e. backup frequently with truncate log) and site log. you can save a lot of space by either keeping site log for only a few days or (even better) by storing it in file system and using an external log viewer (e.g. SmarterStats). Besides, frequently clear event log and scheduler log and 100 MB should be sufficient for a medium sized web site for a long time.

Just to give you an idea, my website, which is on a DNN portal hosting 4 sites, uses 18MB......

I have about 500-600 users, forums, news articles, and other items
