How about setting the recovery model to Simple and/or AutoShrink to True?

You can run this query: backup log yourDBName with truncate_only

Thanks everyone!  I just read I could also detach the database sp_detach_db procedure and then reattach it, thereby creating a fresh, new log file?

I'll give the backup command a try.  I looked at the shrink route, as webhost4life has a button int he control panel to perform this, but wasn't sure if it compresses it and I could get it back to full to ship it to the new host.  ;)

Is this a moot point anyway? When I migrate over, I don't take the log, right?  When I do a backup, it's just a data backup and not the log? Again, I have no idea what I am doing, so just trying to learn enough to be dangerous (and keep my site running smoothly when I make the switch).  :)
