Hi

I have a site that is dedicated to VW Campers that i have just lauched abd require an "Owners Manuals" section and require advice as to what would be the best module to use for this part of my app.

I need to be able to have a picture of the front page of the pdf document and then i need the title, size, description and a download link. I have looked at the repository module but there only appears to be skins that have either an image or a download. i need both.

I have also looked at the documents module which i do use on my site but cant seem to figure out how to use an image as well. Also i would like the user to be able to upload there own manuals, and front pic and as it seems the documents module doesnt allow this. Please tell me if i am wrong.

Any ideas would be great

Thanks

the download type also allows uploads (you need to grant write permission for the appropriate folder though).

Hi

Thanks for your reply but i think i have discovered a bug!

I have built a user defined table with a thumbnail image feild and a download feild. If these are used together it seems that it is impossibe to get both submitted at the same time.

For instance if i add an image for my image feild and then go to the download feild and add a document it refreshes the page and the image feild is left empty.

I know you havent got time for this but i think i have found a proper bug so might be worth having a quick peek:
