I notice from the downloads that there was a release of 4.5.5 today however, I also notice that the DotNetNuke.com website is still running on 4.5.4 and I also do not see any items in the change log for 4.5.5?

Can someone explain exactly what was fixed?  Is there a security issue that we need to be aware of?  Why isn't the DNN site running on this version?

I am only asking as I see this release being a deviation from the "release process" that Joe and others have laid out so I am assuming there was a fairly strong need to release this version.

Mitchel - 4.5.5 was updated to address the problem with the inability to edit profile fields in 4.5.4.  We had discussed it in the private Benefactor forums and it was posted on the Release Schedule page as shown in the picture on my blog post.  I am still working to get us all on the same page regarding proper communication for a release and we are making some progress in this area, but clearly we still have some work to do.

It appears...

http://support.dotnetnuke.com/issue/ViewIssue.aspx?id=5930
... was fixed through another forum but I am completely guessing here (could have missed something here).

Also I am suspecting this has been fixed:
http://support.dotnetnuke.com/issue/ViewIssue.aspx?id=5916
...although this is currently marked for 4.6.0

That's all I know...

thanks

Alex

Thanks Joe!

I know that steps are being made an dI am happy to see the quick turnaround to fix this issue!

I would like to attach me with Mitchels question - so far I noticed the 4.5.4 release was only for three days up-to-date. What was the crucial factor this time?
