The Search function isn't working in our 4.5 installation.

When you input a word into Search, that is also in HTML/Text module, and click Go... the user goes to a page with the Search Results, but no results are listed.

We've reindexed and updated the Search Admin. Then the search works for a short time. When you return and conduct a search, no result is returned.... unless you reindex the site.

Is anyone else having this problem?

Thanks

Do you have the scheduler set to run the indexing operation on a regular basis?

Good question... I don't see indexing as part of the scheduler. What is the class name and assembly for Indexing?
Also, what are the dependant objects?

I'll add it and see if that makes a difference.

Thanks,

Sure, my search never worked right; in fact, I get a critical error or timed-out error or app error 90% of the time I search these forums.

Houston, we have a problem.

Yes, I will agree that the search isn't the greatest, especially on this forum, but it does work.

Regarding the scheduler, the task should be listed when you view the scheduler.  What do you have listed for tasks?
