Interestingly enough I figured out what field in what table in the dnn database to change so that page state persistence was set to Page.  After I did that, I could update all the other settings and things looked to be working.  Then somewhere in the change logs for DNN 4.8 I read that this problem had been fixed.  After reading this I tried to go back in as host and change the setting back to memory.  Once I did that, the same problems as before reared their ugly head.  So, I had to go back into the database to fix it.  I do not think this issue is resolved.

I am having almost the same troubles, I cannot alter anything on all portals of my host?!!!!!

i cannot add a page, cannot delete a module not add one, cannot change settings, the page only refreshes, no logs there. any help would be appreciated.
