I've noticed that when I install my portal on the production server, the Portal Settings page in the Admin menu loads extremely slowly.  All other pages are pretty snappy and Portal Settings loads fine on my staging server.  I didn't notice anything in the server logs or event viewer, but I did notice that when I try to access the portal directly from the server, it gives me a proxy authentication prompt when I go to that page.

The server does require proxy authentication, but I set that up in the host settings and it's working fine for our RSS feed modules.  What would the Portal Settings page be using the proxy for and why isn't it getting the settings correctly from host settings?  Is that what is slowing down the load of that page remotely?

Any help much appreciated...

Bob
