Hi All

The new Edit Profile Property Definition>Manage Localization  screen looks as though it should provide an easy way to modify the help text that appears beside a new Profile Property Definition in a user's Edit Your Account Profile>Manage Profile page. But nothing changes if you only have one language.

DNNCreative (Issue 13 videos1-6) tells you how to do this in Notepad. But I was wondering if the Manage Localization screen was meant to do this.

So is this an incomplete feature, or a bug, or am I misunderstanding something? I see nothing about it in the 4.5.6 roadmap.

Regards

Geoffrey

Manage Localization is intended for web sites with additional language packs installed. No notepad needed anymore ;-)

Yes Sebastian

I understand that and I think it's great. But I am looking for an easy way to change the help text on the Question mark button beside a new Profile Property (currently it just says Help!) when I am just using English. Since this is not a module I don't have a custom resx page to amend.

I am creating an application that uses custom profiles and I want to tell people how to do this in the documentation when they only have one language, and without Notepad. Surely this screen ought to do it.

Regards

Geoffrey
