Hello All,

If anyone is familer with using Virtual Earth with DotNetNuke I could use some help.

I am currently trying to develop a module for DNN 4x that utilizes virtual Earth.  The module is supposed to connect to an SQL Database pull points from the database, and plot the points on the map when the zoom level is greater then 5.  I am using Visual Studio 2005 and the VE3 Map control.  I have written an ashx handler that calls my sql database, and puts the query results into xml format so that I can use a GEORSS feed to put the points on my map.    I am currently using the Event_onendzoom function to detect the zoom level so that I know when the zoom level is the level I want.

My question is  how do I  utilize my ashx handler so that I can create my pushPin collection in my Event_onendzoom method

Thanks in advance

Mike

Hello again,

I beleave I have a solution to my own problem here.  I have a virtual earth map that I am planning to put into a dotnetnuke module that connects to my sql database using an ashx handler to pull a raw xml string from my web server and pass it as a stream.  I beleave this will work in a module once I get around to redoing it in a dnn module.
