Ari,

I haven't used these guys, but they offer a DNN solution.  Maybe someone has used them and can say more about it.  http://www.aspdotnetstorefront.com/

I have used Catalook on numerous occassions.  Yes, it is complicated, yes it requires time to setup.  However, the support is beyond A+ and it is higly customizable.  The price is right too.  It was written in Germany and I have heard people say it has a non-US feel.  I don't know about that.  I think that once you understand what is going on it is straight forward.

Thanks Stuart,

Good to hear (read) from you! I remember reading in your profile on the DNNGuru site that you had done some "catalook integration" or something like that.

We've already purchased catalook, as we needed a stable solution that is time-tested and has lots (read: oodles) of features. Still, I was curious to continue to get other people's opinions and cases for what they use.

Thanks, all for all of the opinions. I hope more keep coming - for the benefit of future readers of this thread.

Ari

Sorry, Stuart, but bad UI has nothing in common with nationalities. It is correct, that CataLook has a bunch of features, but IMHO the developers should try to arrange them much more intuitive and the product would become great software (and maybe CataLook can pay sonmeone to create them a good website as well :-)).

Cheers from Germany,

I believe the store here (DNN marketplace) is in the http://www.aspdotnetstorefront.com/ format. Does anyone know what Snowcovered is in? Perhaps a custom deal.

We offer a store package that is outside the DNN portal but good especially, I think, if you are setting something up for a client to use - someone that would not be able to deal with Catalook modules, or other more complicated solutions.

The Planet Maine template-driven store option is right here. Scroll down and check out the 'Features and Tools' tab - it has much to offer for the price. A working instance is here. If you investigate that, notice especially the options you can attach to membership prices, tshirt color and sizes, etc. That store was built almost entirely by the clients themselves after I got the initial instance set up for them.

Thanks,

Will
