Hi, guys!

I've been moving my site to DNN 4.5.3 and I've stuck with the problem. CSS Control Adapter Toolkit doesn't work. "CSSFriendlyAdapters.browser" is in App_Browsers directory, the code is in App_Code directory alas under debug no breakpoints are hited in an adapter class.

I'd appreciate any help 'cause it's real pain to style ASP controls with the native css support.

Thanks in adance.

Hi,

I'm struggling with the same issue in DNN 4.5.5.

Have you been able to fix this since your last post?

Greetings!

In my case I did these steps:
1) create in VS 2005 a new web site "CSS control adapter toolkit"
2) from this site copy these folders (and its content) in DNN folder:
\App_Browsers
\App_Code\Adapters
\CSS
\JavaScript

it works in 4.5.x

Hi,

thank  you for the reply.

I've tried this and copied all the files, but it still doesn't work, the ASP2MenuNavigationProvider still gets rendered as a table instead of a list.
Does anybody have an idea how I can get this to work ( it used to work with an earlier vsion of DNN and an earleir version of the adapters...)

Greetings!

Sabine

Hi,

do you have any further advice for me?

I have copied all the files and It's still not working but the menu is still rendered as a table.

This is the code from the skin: <dnn:NAV runat="server" id="dnnNAV" ProviderName="ASP2MenuNavigationProvider"  />

Any idea?

Greetings,

Sabine
