Hello,

Since one month, all the links on the control panel are like dead.  When I click on one of them, the page refreshes with nothing happening except  the edit button switching from Edit to View or vice versa and on the address bar, I get this tabid=57&error=Input+string+was+not+in+a+correct+format.&content=0.

When I use the menu, for Users link or Files link, I can open the page but I can do nothing on it, I click on update, the page refreshes and the Edit radion button switches to View and on the address bar I get tabid=57&error=Input+string+was+not+in+a+correct+format.&content=0.

In the Files page, when I click on "Sunchronize Files", the first time, I get  Object reference not set to an instance of an object critical Error, and if I click again, I get this error message:

An error has occurred.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.PageLoadException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. ---> System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at DotNetNuke.Security.Permissions.Controls.FolderPermissionsGrid.GetUsers() at DotNetNuke.Security.Permissions.Controls.PermissionsGrid.CreateChildControls() at System.Web.UI.Control.EnsureChildControls() at System.Web.UI.Control.FindControl(String id, Int32 pathOffset) at System.Web.UI.Control.FindControl(String id, Int32 pathOffset) at System.Web.UI.Control.FindControl(String id, Int32 pathOffset) at System.Web.UI.Control.FindControl(String id, Int32 pathOffset) at System.Web.UI.Control.FindControl(String id, Int32 pathOffset) at System.Web.UI.Page.FindControl(String id) at System.Web.UI.Page.ProcessPostData(NameValueCollection postData, Boolean fBeforeLoad) at System.Web.UI.Page.ProcessRequestMain(Boolean includeStagesBeforeAsyncPoint, Boolean includeStagesAfterAsyncPoint) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

I cannot update modules and pages. I cannot use any TextEditor, the page just refreshes and I get the text areas empty as you can see on the video bellow.

Please any help.

I'm having the same problem. I'm running a 4.5.3 installation of DotNetNuke, and the problem occured the first time after I had uploaded an archive (ZIP-archive), put the files in the relevant location (of another Website) and deleted the archive on the server file system. I then wanted to do synchronize and ever since that I get the error when trying to synchronize, or upload a file, or sometimes even when I just try to open a folder.

I've also tried logging into another portal hosted on the same installation, and I get the same error.

Any help will be greatly appreciated! If this is fixed in 4.5.5, I could upgrade, too (at least, if upgrading is safe).

Fortunately, it seems as if it was not exactly the same problem. Today, I've tried it again, and it seems that the File Manager is working smoothly again. I can synchronize, synchronize recursively, and delete files without any problems. Also, uploading works again. So, it seems as if the problem was due to some sort of caching that got messed up, and after the application was restarted, the problem "solved itself".
