Hi all,
i'm newbie of DNN and I'm considering to use it in a large web site. I'm also developer, so I can build customization but I need same explanations.

I'm discovering feature as 'My site for every users' in DNN.
The requirement is:
each users can enable, for itis profile, a flag and the create its own sub-site with url as www.portal.com/users/<userName> Every users sub-site must have a preconfigured pages (in number and content) and security.

How is possible to map this requirement with DNN. It I create sub-portal for each users I have to possibility to inherit security from root portal, it it right?
Also how is possible by code create a template of site (skin, css, pages, security) and the apply to sub-portal ?

Thx to all
Marco

Have a look at these sites:

onyaktech have a few modules that might fit:

Portal Sign-up
Portal Stats
MyLinks
LinkNex

As do DnnFusion:

MyProfile
MyMessages

as does Smart-Thinker:

UserProfiles
UserGroups
