Hi,

I am a new dotnetnuke user. I plan to develop a site which will be a web2.0 one. Can anyone tell me if i can develop a rich web2.0 website using dotnetnuke? If so how?

Thanx,

Subrajit

Hi,

Yes, you can probably use DNN for a web 2.0 site, but you will need to be more specific though as to what you are trying to achieve.

For example, I use DNN for PokerDIY.com, which is a social network for connecting poker players. I use a couple of the core modules, the Ventrian modules, the Smart-Thinker modules and a custom poker league module.

My site has a couple of components that are considered web 2.0 - like the poker player directory (with My Friends and profiles) poker classifieds, poker groups, events and collaboration tools like the Forum and private messaging. I am still working on the UI to make it as friendly and responsive as possible.

What are you trying to achieve? You need to define your exact requirements before you could answer such a question...
