I've installed DNN 4.0.2 and have it up and running for the first time on a new portal.  When I try to use any uploader, whether for modules, or skins, "browse" and "add" work, but when I click "upload file" it just goes back to either the module def tab or settings tab without going to the intermediary screen that details the unzipping and installing. After it goes back, the file it was supposed to upload is nowhere to be found.   I have used DNN 3.x so I'm somwhat familiar, but I've just migrated to 4.x for the first time.  I know it's probably some rookie mistake I'm making, but I'll be damned if I know what it is.

Any ideas?

I'm having this problem too.  I've searched the documentation but I'll be dipped if I know what is wrong.  Anyone know what could cause this?  I was running 3.2 perfectly then decided to make the jump to 4.0.2 and kaboom, it won't install modules.  Anyone, please help...

I was uploading modules with no problems into 4.0.2 and now it's not working. Did anyone get this worked out?

Allow me to pile on and say, "Me too."

It may that I'm using DNN only on my LAN on an XP Pro box, and don't have the permissions set right. but since there's no error message of any kind, I don't know.

but we're all experiencing the exact same thing:choose a file to upload (in any upload form: images, skins, etc.) and the page ust refreshes not having uploaded anything at all and not telling us why.

If anyone can help, please do!
