Hi would appreciate any help.  Having trouble uploading files.  I am logged in as an adminstrator and have permisssions.  I click [Upload] and go through the steps, select the file I want by hitting [Browse] and add it.  I return to the file manager window (where you see a list of files) and my file is not there.  I hit refresh and nothing.  There are no errors generated in the whole process, no explanation of why it is not working.

I then went and FTPd something to the target directory, hit refresh in the DNN file browser, and there is my file.  So obvously DNN is reading the directory contents, but teh file upload mechanism isn't working.  Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance!!

Assuming you are trying to do the upload in File Manager: After clicking Browse and selecting the file, did you then click "Upload File"? Most modules which use the URL Control for upload also use this four step procedure - Click Upload, Click Browse, Select file to upload, Click Upload File (or Upload Selected File).

If you are following this sequence and are still having a problem: 1) Are you uploading in the File Manager or a particular module? What version of DNN and if a particular module what version of the module?

Thank you for your responses gentlemen.  To answer your  questions:

1) Yes I am taking care to click the "upload file button".

2) I do not know what you mean by "what module are you uploading in".  I am simply clicking "file manager" and trying to upload a file.

3) I do not know what you mean by "recognize function" I do not see this anywhere.

To alleviate any further confusion I have posted a series of screenshots which will show in detail what I am doing and experiencing along with my commentary and arrows in green so you get a full picture of the issue.  Could it be a permissions issue of some sort.  Please help again.  Thank you.
