For years and years now I have pressed the "login" whenever visiting DotNetNuke.com, desipite always having used remember login and never having pressed the logout button, what must I do to get it to work?? I have no such problems with any other forums, only this one.

The login cookie expires now in less than a day, so you need to visit at least twice a day from the same pc.

It's almost a session cookie as is ..

I know it's been discussed before.  since it is a simple config change...  why is not at least 2 or 3 days after every login?    Or even,  when I login it is good for an additional day..  I realize that would be an enhancement.

I'm not sure why you say login twice in a day.   I login all the time and it never lasts more than 1 day.

Or why not just make it last "forever" as that is what I and probably most others want? If I press remember login, I don't want to have to login ever again if I am running the same browser on the same computer, isn't that what most people would want? If you want to log in each time, then just don't select the remember login checkbox. Sorry, but I fail to understand how this can be so complicated, seems obvious to me.

Perhaps change the language to read, "Remember my login for a few hours?" I enter my login info a half dozen times a day.

Let's start an online petition for 48-hour cookies! We could get shirts made for members who are going to Open Force! "Remember Me?"
