Hello Everyone,

I'm working on building my first dotnetnuke website and I must say that I'm having a blast. DNN is alot of fun to work with. I'm running into a problem trying to add in a form though. I want to add in my google search form to let users search my site. I tried just adding in the form code into a text/html module but that didn't work since it's an aspx page and all I ended up doing is nesting forms wich just breaks everything. I know it's possible to add in a form though since there's a built in search module that you can add that will let you search. What I'd like to do is create my own search module using my google search form code. My question is: How do you add a form to a DNN page without nesting inside the main form tags thus breaking the page? If anyone could please please help me I would greatly apprecaite it. Thank you very much!

you cannot insert forms in a text/HTML module, since asp.net does not allow nested forms and the module already runs in a form. you need to create a custom module or use one of the available forms modules, e.g. Feedback, UserDefinedTable or free Helferlein Form from www.helferlein.com

Or you could put your form in an iFrame ... not as elegant, but it works.
