I would I be able to send a global announcement to all currently online users?

For example, if we need to do website maintenance in 10 minutes, I would like to annouce it to all users.

thanks,

Dean

I am not sure, if this is supported by PrivateMessages module from www.ventrian.com, check out the module description or contact the developer.

As mentioned it's that popup that causes the problem but it's hard to get to it to say "no thanks".  My work around was just as the page is loading, click "X" to stop IE loading and then click the link that says "click here to download direct" (or something like that).   If you miss it, hit "refresh" after the failure as I've had better luck the 2nd time.  In fact, often after "refresh" I'm able to catch that popup and click "No Thanks" and then I'm able to download normally...but only for that link. :(

Hope this helps,

John
