I would like to know if who has experience with using DNN on a pre-existing website as a Member Management Program.  (To register and logon members to the pre-existing website.)

I want to use DNN to:

  1. Register and Logon members to the website.
  2. To restrict access to a number of folders.
  3. Maybe plugin a third party program (a forum's membership files) into the DNN Logon Module.  So that the two programs membership files can be shared!

to convert your web site into dotnetnuke would require to convert it into modules. you need to weight, whether it is less effort (now and in the future) to do so or to add the functionality (e.g. using existing components like the MS membership block) to your application.
