It sounds like from the first post on this thread that the user is having problems with the download of the file, not the upload.  Therefore maxRequestLength wouldn't be an issue.

I would say that really a 600+ mb file is not an easy item for someone to be downloading from a web browser.  It can be done, but it is going to be slow, and depending on how the browser is configured it can cause interesting things to happen.  I will say that I would NOT recommend using the secure DNN file system for file transfers, nor would I link to it via LinKClick.aspx, I would just directly link to the file, it might provide you better performance.

Whoops!  Thanks for catching that.

If they experience a timeout, this can be used (but is not recommended):

<!-- This lengthens the timeout time to 5 minutes -->
<httpRuntime executionTimeout="300"/>

FTPing the file is a much better option for larger files.

Thanks all for your comments,

To clarify it is happened on download NOT upload, because I use backend method to upload this file. I found another interesting situation where it is working just find if I do multiple click but NOT if I clicked only once. So, it seems to me that the browser have difficulty in finding the file. Also, I am using download.aspx for my download. Any idea where should I checked to make these thing work. Browser setting maybe?? Thanks.

Hi Mitch,

Can you show me the sample code in VB of how to directly link to the file? Thanks.
