Hi,

It would be great to setup a document repository with categorisation in DNN( like a doc. library) and be able to export/send/save documents from other applications expecially office applications into a DNN document repository. I realise Sharepoint is great at this, but can DNN now do this via core or 3rd party modules. If so then what are these modules?

Also linked to this is the question of workflow.... like implementing expenses etc... Thoughts??

Again a big thank you for helping out,

Sam

Sounds like a good idea for module developers or the core to take on... Sharepoint is unique in the way it integrates so tightly with Office. It's the one thing that makes Sharepoint with Office is a real production and publishing workflow tool, whilst other CMS' tend to act as little mroe than fancy file repositories.

Hi Sam,

Yes, WebDAV has come to DNN now!! Open and save from your Office application directly to your site. Let me know if you have any questions.

Peter

PS Thanks Sebastian ;-)
