As a Delphi die hard whose converted to .NET and C# (which I adore), I come carrying a wagon load of baggage against VB. I could imagine a fist fight with Billy Hollis, for example...

I must confess that the DotNetNuke initiative has placated my bias against VB.

I admire your decision to follow the Open-Source model. I admire your code and architecture.

Well done. I have no need for a C# version of DNN, this one is respectable and I appreciate every line that doesn't end in ;

John ~

You're just the kind of guy we like!  The fact is that we're really not all any kind of "VB fanatics", anyway.  But we are pragmatists and the core is written in VB.  We have a couple of module projects written in C# ( Store, Wiki I believe ).  And would love to see some others... in fact I'd like to see a J# project just for the pure humor in it!  DotNetNuke takes advantage of LOTS of technologies, patterns and practices and makes it possible for all of them ( and more ) to be utilized and relevant.  Heck, we've even got a post in the Announce It! forum that promotes a DNN module that implements PHP Script ( PHP scripting inside DotNetNuke 4 )!  Will wonders never cease?

Welcome!  We look forward to seeing more from you!

Cheers
