Ok, this happens on outdated computers, and new, and good, fast computers.

Why is DNN so slow?

I mean the ones we can download. I load DNN on my server : green-nova.com, and it takes literally a minute to 4 to load! I tried to see if it was a server problem, but it does the same thing on another server. I also tried connection probles for wifi? but I is slower on a desktop. I dont know what is wrong. Can someone explain?

Are you talking about the speed of the file transfer, or the loading of the web site into a web browser?

I'm going to assume you mean for the site to load, as I just tried to hit it and am still waiting for it to load. (it finally loaded, now refreshes are quick)

Initial load times for DNN, like any ASP.NET app can take a while because all of the DLLs/Code get loaded into memory if the IIS process hasn't been loaded in the past 20 minutes (default time) the site must be reloaded. You can help to decrease the amount of time this takes by doing the following.

Make sure to uninstall all modules you aren't using on your site. Increase the application pool time in IIS to keep it from unloading after 20 minutes of inactivity.

Most "active" sites won't see this issue because they are getting requests frequently. Inactive sites though will have this problem. There are "keep alive" services out there that you can setup to ping you site every so often (10-15 minutes) that will keep the site loaded into memory, minimizing the number of times an actual user will see the problem you are seeing.

This blog and its comments mention a few different keep alive services out there:

Another item that you can do if you are noticing slow performance after the first page loads is to ensure that your site performance settings (caching and compression) are set to allow better site performance.
