Hi All

I am a developer based in the UK, and i want to develop a web based application for some of my clients.

The main question i have is do i use one single large module or a number of smaller ones.

All of the areas link to one another in some form.

I am open to suggestions before i go too far down one particular path.

thanks

I'm of the opinion you should make many smaller modules and link them together. Like being object oriented on a larger scale or I call it the UNIX approach.  Make a bunch of little programs that do one thing really really well and can talk to each other.

That way finding the broken bit's is easier you get to sell the big project and resell all the little pieces in other applications down the road.

Good case for spearate modules.

Also, i would be able to make some of them premium modules.

Thanks for the advice.
