Hello all,

I just recently installed DNN 4.08.00 on XP Pro, IIS 6.0, SQL Server 2000, .Net 2.0.   I've created a database properly and set up IIS.  The install appears to have worked properly since when I go to run the installwizard again it tells me that it has been successfully installed.   Additionally, the database structure seems to have been created properly.  I followed installation notes with making changes to the Web.Config file.

My problem is this:

I'm not finding any instructions any where on how to actually RUN the app.  I'm pointing my browser to the virtual directory I set up for this site and to Default.aspx since that SEEMS to be the most logical thing to do (although I don't really know).  When I do, I get the .Net error below.  Please help!

Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.

Nevermind folks....I forgot to create the user account (that I assigned in the installwizard) in SQL Server.  Once I did that, voila!  It's working beautifully!!!
