Hi,

I'm looking for a module that does the following:
- List the contents of a folder on disk
- allow users to download and upload files to this folder
- when I copy new files into this folder, using Windows Explorer, these files have to show up in the module automatically

Thanks,

Werner

Actually, the File Manager will do all of this now.  The only part that is not obvious is that a job must be running in the scheduler to periodically synch up the files on disk to the files displayed in the File Manager.  I'm sure that you are looking for something else... just wanted to point out that this functionality exists in the core framwork today.

Cheers

Doesn't the newest release determine files dynamically? I'm pretty sure I've thrown files into a 3.2.2 install and the FM recognized them.

Michael,

the install folder is a special folder. files placed in subfolders will be installed, when install/install.aspx is called (with appropriate parameter) or the scheduler is configured to auto-install files found in there.
