Hi,

I'm trying to use this DotNetnuke portal for my customers, help me with this pls. I want to allow my customers to come in and register (or I might register for them) and be able to login and access the member's area. Is it possible to redirect them to respective pages which are created just for them for example

I have Customer A, B , C and when Custoemr A logs in I want ro redirect to PageAA where the customer can view his status and my other customers B & C should not see that .. Coz I'm doing SEO & SEM services so for each customer I want to show their website ranking and results but I want that to be shared only to respective clients.

How can I do this? Any plugin or component that can come handy? or How abt this when I create a new page and specify that this page is resitricted to Registeres users or subscribed users can I pick the user name right there?? I haven't used subscribed users Option till now, I only used registered users ...

Any thoughts on this

There are a couple of different approaches to this.  One approach is to direct them to entirely different pages with different conent.  The other is to develop modules which display data based on the UserId or Roles associated with the current user.  Personally, I'd be a fan of the latter... simply for the sake of maintenance.  But the first approach is not currently an option in the core framework ( although you're likely to see an implementation of "personal pages" within the next few months ).  I believe there are a couple of different vendors out there with Personalized Page solutions today, if you need one.

Cheers

I was looking for the same recently but currently there is no module that can do this. What you want is personilized, i.e. user specific, content. One possibility is to assign a unique role to each client and use this role for a personilized page (or module as Scott suggested).

You can simulate this behavior with modules like: SupportDesk, or Active Forums. but it will not look very clean however.
