The following tag seems to have a problem:

<dnn:ACTIONBUTTON2 runat="server" id="dnnACTIONBUTTON2" CommandName="SyndicateModule.Action" DisplayIcon="True" DisplayLink="False" />

This tag will render a space ( ) even if not logged in (meaning no icon appears). This means it is impossible to have the table/cell that contains it to be hidden when the user is not logged in and therefore none of the "settings", "help" or "edit text" links appear.

Same seems true for the other ACTIONBUTTON tags (1 through 4). Why is this? Any way to override this behaviour?

Use a code-behind (or code file) class to hide the control if no content exists.

Obviously, this is a work-around, tho. Have you checked Gemini for a bug report? Actually, this is probably more along the lines of a feature request. Either way, search thru Gemini and comment on an existing issue or create a new one, if it's not there. This will ensure it can make it into a future release.

Thanks!
