I would like to display a small (five row by five column) spreadsheed on a page. Visitors should be able to put numbers in some of the cells. Other cells would be calculated, and visitors should not be able to alter them.  I imagine it  like a  small Excel  sheet with some locked cells.

Is there an existing module to do this?

Or maybe there is a service somwhere I could put in an iFrame? I tried Google docs, but wasn't able to secure cells.

depending on your concrete needs, UserDefinedTables might suit your demands, using calculated columns.

check out http://www.spreadsheetconverter.com/  it used to be called excell everywhere and the converter converts the excel spreadsheet to a asp.net set of pages that you can load via the iframe - the converted spreadsheet acts the same as excel.

I use it for clients and it works

I too have used the Spreadsheet Calulator for a few quick fixes. It makes a great ROI calculator and such. It works as advertised, and is well worth the small investment.

Spreadsheet Calulator does exactly what I need. I tried UDTable, but it’s nowhere near as easy or quick to use. I assume with a lot of customizing UDT might do the job; I'm just not up to the task.

Would be nice to have a simple spreadsheet DNN module for calculators, thought
