Hello,

I managed to get all the way through the installation and everything seemed fine.

When i deploy the application on the server(say domain name: dotnetnuke.new.in) and make Default.aspx as default page.

I edited the portalalias to be able to connect (now in HTTPAlias columm i wrote "dotnetnuke.new.in") .Is this okay or need some other settings?

but now when i try to connect to the site it just loads forever but never actually gets there.

The OS is Windows 2003 and the browser is IE7.  The DNN version is the newest one available on the site.

Thanks in advance for any suggessions...

First, check that you can use the domain in a browser to view a basic default.html file in the same folder - you might need to remove teh default.aspx file from the folder temporarily.

If that works, put the default.aspx page back, and in the IIS settings for your new entry, check that the appciation is set as Asp.net 2

I'm assuming you have applied all the correct permssions.. Network_service=RWXD for the whole thing will get you going.

Rob
