Is anyone getting emails from Portal Store?  I have tried to contact them several times about their product, but have not heard anything.  Starting to look like no one wants my money...

I too have been trying to reach them for a couple of weeks to ask if they have a locak host demo and links to some sample sites to see it in action, however, not a word from them.

I gave up on them a while back.  We actually have SDN store running right now, and are evaluating it.  A little weird gettin gused to the setup, but it is working out so far.  Getting the bloody program running wasn't funny, but the new release is supposed to make that easier.  I never did get a call-back from KodHedz either...

Hi 67RSSS

I purchased  Portal Store and am setting a store up with it now.  They have gotten back to me on some issues I had, and the support has been good, but somewhat delayed.  They mentioned just moving offices, and not being able to respond as fast as normal.  This might be why they haven't gotten back to you.

As for store samples, they don't have any posted on their site but a good example is www.snowcovered.com  where DNN modules are sold.

Here is some comments I posted earlier about it in another thread  about Portal Store:

I  have found that Portal store jumps in where Yande Store left off and adds all the rest of the functionality that I need, including currency converter.  It will be able to handle any number of products I need.  It does however lack in visual appeal which I am fixing through editable templates and skins  There is at least some good documentation on skinning, and I am getting the store to look the way that I want.

For someone who is experienced at skinning this is a good store, for functionally it is complex and robust. It integrated easily with pay pal, and had many other payment options as well as SSL support.  It will be able to accommodate all of the store items that I have.  However unfortuantely out of the box it is not very pretty, this is where YandeStore had me originally. It is visually much more appealing and has nice and easy to use buttons which clients want. The main complaint my client had about their last store was that it wasn't easy to use.

-------

In General Portal store is full of complex functionality, and is robust with few bugs, but lacks any graphic design whatsoever.  You need to be able to create your own skins to make this store looks good, and even update button graphics etc.

Please let me know if you have any other questions I can aswer about it. I hope this info helps!
