I am using version 4.07 of the portal.  When go to pages in the admin menu and select a page to edit, after clicking the pencil, I get the following error at the top of the screen:

A critical error has occurred.
Failed to load viewstate. The control tree into which viewstate is being loaded must match the control tree that was used to save viewstate during the previous request. For example, when adding controls dynamically, the controls added during a post-back must match the type and position of the controls added during the initial request.

has anyone else gotten this?  If so, does any one know what is going wrong and how I can fix it?

Thanks!

Hey Karl,

Do you know if there is anything special on that page? Any particular type of module? Also, is this something that was functioning properly for some time and now its not? Anything changed recently? Also, have you tried restarting the application? This may clear out the issue.

Take care,

Ian
