ZenCSS Skin

A DotNetNuke skin by Considero

ZenCSS skin is lightweight SEO optimized skin for DotNetNuke platform.

It is designed to insure:

  • Simplicity
  • Fast page loading
  • High level of usability, readability and navigation
  • Modern Web 2.0. look and feel
  • Stability inside any familiar web browser
  • Easy CSS management for webmasters
  • Variety of panes layout
  • Fun :)

Panes Layout Variations

All the panes but the Content Pane are invisible. That means, they are visible only if there is some content in them.

That gives the contetn manager opportunity to arrange the content in many different ways.

For example, all the content can be placed in the content pane. That will make a whole page (between the menu and the bottom bar) white.

Some panes layout examples

9 belonging containers included.

Like 90% of the skins on Snowcovered, your skin is riddled with html tables ... why are you calling it "ZenCSS?"

I called it ZenCSS because i used only one 1px wide gif to render the header. All the rest is drawn and colored with css. Yes, the structure is table based, but all the styles are normalized and separated in css file, not in html, that is in ascx. Do you think something is more css if it is div and not table based? I wouldn't say. I agree, though, div is better for making web page structure, it is faster and more adjustable, but it's art making it work the same in Firefox and IE.

The Zen prefix i took to make accent on skin's simplicity and ballance. I bet i would get with a rod on my head from some zen master for it. :)

ZenCSS skin is very fast and flexible no mather it is made of tables, and i stand behind it's name.
