I posted a thread regarding CSSP and DNN and it got me thinking about the menu. My apologies if this has been discussed before, but I couldn't find any threads on it.

Why is a table used in Solpartmenu? It seems (to me at least) that it would be easier to style if it were an unordered list instead of a table. Creating vertical or horizontal menus, for instance, could be controlled through the stylesheet instead of through XML (I'm using HTML for mark-up).

There are other third party menu used for DNN that use the unordered list instead of tables.

I think House Menu is one that I quite like.

However I am sure that is the reason that it does not have the flexibilities of Solpart as far as control on fly-outs and other numerous controls available for solpartmenu.

Thanks Salaro. I did find a 3rd party menu that seems to work fine at Schwing Nuke. The only problem I've found with it is that you cannot assign an icon to the menu item through DNNs interface. It must be done through the CSS and only if you know the name of your tab_IDs. At least that's what I've gathered so far.
