Hi,

I want to send newsletters. I already have a mechanism for allowing users to signup for newsletters but I am struggling with working out the best way to create and send the newsletter.

The biggest issue is the creation of the newsletter. I need the newsletter to work in Outlook and web email like gmail, hotmail and yahoo mail. I haven't found the rich text editor to work very well (results in lots of formatting issues for recipitents) so to date I have been writing the html by hand - which is very time consuming and tedious.

I have looked at creating the email in MS Publisher. This works fine if sent within publisher.

The other issue is tracking. I notice there a number of newsletter tracking modules availble for purchase (none appear to have a revisied editor). But this would mean I wouldn't be able to use Publisher. Publisher doesn't seem to have the tracking facilities of the DNN modules previously mentioned.

Has anybody got any advice as to the best way to resolve this?

Thanks

Liz

there are several 3rd party newsletter programs and services, which provide tracking and filtering options for addresses, you only need aditionally a module to export all users with email and optionally addtional selection criteria.
