Hi all DNN-pros

 

Can I download DNN4.8.1 from somewhere ? It was the one where I could use Internet Explorer to edit the FCK edtior here in the forums ... now I have to use the Firefox again ... so I would ne very happy If I could download the DNN 4.8.1 from somewhere

Huh?  You're needing 4.8.1 to work online in IE?  Maybe if you explain better.  Beyond that, to get Legacy Releases, follow the link for Legacy Releases at the bottom of the downloads page.

I have a special problem and that is our Internet Explorer in combination with the FCK Editor this forum is using is not working together very well ... BUT when the dotnetnuke site was in version 4.8.1 just earlier it worked fine in internet Explorer but now with version 4.8.2 it doesn't work for me to edit in explorer .... this forum text I am now writing is using firefox mozilla .....

there has been no change to FCKEditorprovider in 4.8.1 and 4.8.2 and besides, how does a DNN version installed on your site affect your access to DotNetNuke.com? Sounds very strange...

from time to time I have heavy problem using the FCK editor but in the 4.8.1 version on this dotnetnuke forum I noticed no problem at all and just wanted that version to use on all our own sites .... of course it doen't help me with accessing this forum ... whenever my Internet Explorer starts to freeze up I just have to swap and use firefox until a new version of dotnetnuke is up again .... It is realy a big problem for me and all our customers .... every one of them has the same problem with their Internet Explorer and we are tracking every thing which can give us a clue .....
