I created a DNN site locally which uses port 8335 (http://localhost:8335).  This DNN uses SQL 2005 with SQL authentication.  It works locally.

I copied all site files to another server at \\dnndev\c$\inetpub\dnnjournal.  I created a new site on the dnndev server and set it at port 9632.

I added to aliases to the DNN from my local workstation, dnndev and dnndev:9632.

When I navigate to http://dnndev:9632, I am redirected to http://localhost/dnnjournal and receive a 404 message.

What alias must I add to get the site to runn at the dnndev server?

I just had to re-register as the site said my user name didn't exists...anyway, not sure what that was about...

I was able to get this to work by manually changing the PortalAlias main record to dnndev and adding a new localhost/dnnjournal record.  You might assume that localhost wouldn't work now, but it does.
