Okay, we have been working on the site for a long time now (www.northstarcamaroclub.net), and are getting ready to release it to the general public. It is hosted as .net but we also have the old website still hosted as www.northstarcamaroclub.com. What do I have to do to get the .net site to also be the .com site? We want people to go to the new DNN based website in either case, and even though all the development has been done with the site showing .net, we really would like the .com to show up in the address bar. I need to talk to CrystalTech about also keeping the .com email addresses instead of the .net ones the new site is using now. I know this isn't going to be painless, but I am certain someone else has tried this before. What is the best strategy for getting this swap done as painlessly as possible?

simply point both domains to your dotnetnuke installation web site, and (if your portal is the first portal in the DNN installation) all calls to the second address will be redirected automatically to the first or you need to add both as a portal alias (login to your DotNetNuke as host user and go to portals in host menu, select your portal and scroll down to add an alias).
