I just saw it costs 1500 a year for Bronze support and that doesn't include access to the private support forum (gotta pay 6000 a year for that).  Has anybody purchased the Bronze package that can discuss how the support has been?  Was it worth 1500?

This would be some good feedback to get, but I doubt that much will be aired here..

Hi Ryno,

I may be off base here, but I think you could probably tack on private forum access on a per-user sponsorship basis, which runs at $250.  I assume that the private sponsorship forum is the same as the one used for the Silver-level support package, which I suppose could be a mistaken assumption.

It looks like you got a response from the man himself.

You're right.  Good stuff.  That post makes it pretty clear to me that DNN is going to move into a paid version, as well.  Of course with the forming of the Corporate model and all that's not too suprising.  This brings up an interesting discussion (for me anyway...maybe this is old news for those in the know).  But with the breaking changes of DNN3 to DNN4 and the obvious (so it seems to me) push into versions that will require a subscription or payment of some kind...why hasn't anybody made a website dedicated to just DNN3?  No breaking changes...just make the code better and concentrate on DNN3 modules?  So people can stick with one code base that continually gets better without worrying about breaking changes and "progress" that sets individual website owners back three steps?  There could also be a site dedicated to DNN4 that does the same thing so that when users like myself decide to get off the upgrade train....we know our stuff can still improve.

But I digress.  I'm glad to see support subscription options though.  Options are always good.
