Hi,

Just back from a two week absence and noted that there a new version available.

I downloaded but before installing, I wanted to understand the changes. Your website linked to the Gemini project tracker here but the latest entry listed the 4.8.2 update.

Can you help??

There were very few, but very critical changes made.

You need to upgrade for security reasons.

As mentioned above the changes were done for security reasons, an upgrade is STRONGLY recommended.

You can view some details on the security aspects by viewing the 4 security notes posted yesterday.

In case you didn't know, the notes that Mitch referenced are here: http://www.dotnetnuke.com/News/SecurityPolicy/tabid/940/Default.aspx

Look under the "Issues" heading on the righthand side of the page.

Many thanks to Mitch and Brandon. Helpful as always. I will now upgrade.
