Hi Guys,

I'm with a team creating an IT portal using DNN and we want to offer free white papers for some user info. Do you know the best module to do this with? I understand there are multiple ways to do this. You can request a one time registration form to gain entry to the download page, but users need to do this every time (which gets annoying and you end up with a lot of people named "asdf asdf"). Then other sites have a one time user registration with a login page - easier, but seems like a bigger commitment and may be a more difficult module to keep track of.

I would love to hear your insight and module reccomendations.

If you are looking to provide documents for download with login each time, I am not sure of any modules that are out there now that do it.

I know I personally built a module that does exactly what you are looking for, it tracks each download as well.  If you are interested in a custom solution, feel free to drop me a message at msellers@iowacomputergurus.com and I'll see what we can do.

Otherwise if you are not concerned about download activity and just want to display the information in a secure manner News Articles might be the way to go.
