Something strange has been going lately with all of my DNN sites.  The weird thing is that is only happens on my Home computer and not my computer at work or any other computer for that matter.  I am not sure anyone can help but I thought I would at least post it to see.

Here is what is happening.  When I go to one of my, or other's DNN sites, the menu won't load.  Also, when I do get the menu loaded and can get logged in, sometimes the module menu won't work.  In addition to that, when I do get the module menu to work, the FCKeditor doesn't load.  It seems to be a javascript problem and I can temporarily fix this problem by clearing my cache & cookies.  What's even weirder is this seems to be a cross browser problem.  I get problems in both IE and Firefox.

Just yesterday, I reformatted my computer and loaded everything from scratch and the problems still exist.

Anyone have a clue what's going on or how I can even go about trying to figure out what's going on?  I really don't want to buy a new computer and it seems that my computer is the only one having these problems.

You reformatted the computer because the menu didn't work?  Is this installed in IIS?  Operating system?  Error log messages?  Event log entries?  IIS logs?

Sounds like it may be too tight of security on the browser.      As a test, open IE go to tools, Internet Options, Security, click on Trusted sites and then click the Add button  for trusted sites.   Enter the URL of the website to add it as trusted.    Close IE and start again, and browse to your website.   If the site menu and others show, it is your IE Browser settings.     Also check any other cookie blocker other internet browsing security software, if you have any.

Ok, I checked everything out, set everything back to default and am still having problems.  It is more than just the menu, the FCKEditor doesn't work either on most sites I administer.  Some images don't load, where they do on other computers. Pages generally act weird and always report a javascript error.  All these sites work fine on every other computer I try them on, its just this one computer.

I did a system restore again last night, just to check it out with yet another fresh install, didn't load any programs and instantly started having problems.

I know its hard to actually figure out what the problem is with the little bit of info I have provided but do you all think its a hardware issue?  I have had 2 different versions of windows installed from scratch, one twice and have problems.  It just baffles me

Try using a different browser like Firefox instead if IE.
