I am using the dynamic registration module and we would like to be able to a. get a public listing of registered users displayed on the site by any member and b. have that user list searchable/sortable (name, dept, etc). I see by the same company there is a module called dynamic user directory which seems to do this but is here a more economical module/way to do this?

Thanks for any help!

There is a user directory module being developed at DotNetNuke Forge that I believe will list users by roles.  I have not used it since I bought the DataSprings bundled package of modules and am using the user directory module in that package to list users by roles.  I will say that the DataSprings modules have some nice integration features and the support and module quality are great.

Thank you Paul, sadly that free module while nice does not pull from the dynamic reg module data, only the core DNN user info. Thus it's not very helpful to myself. Seems I will have to break down for the dynamic directory module. you would think however, for the price if the reg module they would include a basic block to view users at least...
