I'm new to posting and would appreciate some patience with me as I try to get this resolved.  I'm converting a website to DNN and for part of it, I am building  an html/text module in my left pane that will be consistent throughout my portal and have come across a couple of issues:

1.  I have an image that I will be linking to a mailto link and while the link is fine and does what it should do, there is an unsightly purple box that is around the image/link, viewable to the public.  Can someone  tell me how to remove that purple box.

2.  The current site uses some javascript rollover effects for some nav buttons where in its "at rest state" there is one image for each button, and when the mouse "rolls over" the button image, there is a new image.  As I am adding these images through the portal itself, is it possible to replicate this on the DNN site, and if so, can someone help me with this task.

Thanks

For Item 1.

Open the editor again, right click on the picture and select image properties.   You will then see a field for Border.  Set this to 0.    When you add an image, and then add a link to the image, the border is set to 1 automatically, so you need to reset it to 0 each time.

For item 2

If you are pasting the javascript into a text/html module, once you have it set, you can add the same module to other pages as you like.   Create the first, then on other pages, instead of adding another text/html module, select "Add Existing Module" in the radio button above the modules drop down list.   When you select add existing module,  the drop down list will change so you can select the source page and module, adding it to other pages as often as you like.

Number 1 is resolved, and based on your answer to number 2, it sounds like what I wasn to do can be done.  Many thanks!
