Has anybody been successful in getting InstantKB.net to work with DNN?  I came across some old info. (from 2005) that mentioned that some people had been successful with this without using IFrame.

We are looking at finding a knowledge base solution and so far InstantKB.net seems to be the best fit.  I would need to be able to access it through our community portal (DNN) preferably without the use of IFrame.

If you have done this could you please share how?

Anybody?  Really any input would be helpful even if it is to point me in the right direction of a different knowledge base solution.

Thank you!

Hi Scott,

The info. that I found was rather vague but offered a glimmer of hope.  I found it at this link:  http://community.instantasp.co.uk/Topic6281-25-1.aspx#bm8695

I even contacted them and received a very short response indicating that there was no plans for InstantKB.net integration for DNN, which was dissappointing as the product really did seem like the best fit when researching KB options.

Sadly, it looks like it has turned out to be a dead end and for now my company will be attempting to use the Help Module that is part of the core DNN.   It is by no means the ideal solution but I was unable to find anything else to indicate there is a viable Knowledge Base option available to work with DNN.

Best of luck!  Please do let me know if you turn up anything.

Thank you,

M. Capan

Scott,

This is another link to a discussion where one of the employees of InstantASP responded indicating they would help with integrating InstantKB.net with DNN, which added to the dissappointment when I received their response asking for them to help me do just that.

I do still see it as one of the finer implementations of a Knowledge Base solultion out there, though.

Thanks,

M. Capan
